Creating Email Accounts

If you would like to create email accounts for your custom domain registered through SnapPages, you have a couple of options:


‚Äč1) Create email forwarding accounts (Recommended): Free

While we do not currently offer email accounts directly through SnapPages, we do offer the ability to create email forwarders. By this, I mean that you can create an email forwarding account such as info@yourdomain.com that will forward all emails to an email address of your choice. In other words, any emails sent to info@yourdomain.com will be automatically redirected to your personal email address. You can create multiple email forwarding accounts.

If you would like to create some email forwarding accounts for free, please send us the following information:

  • Domain Name
  • Email forwarding account(s) you would like to add (e.g. info@yourdomain.com)
  • The email address(es) that you would like each of these email forwarders to forward to

2) Create email accounts using a 3rd party service (Google Apps): Additional Cost 

If you need fully functional email accounts rather than email forwarding accounts, you can create some by using a 3rd party email service such as Google Apps. To set up email accounts using Google Apps, please visit their home page and follow the instructions to create an account. Once you have created an account, you will need to verify your domain. When prompted, select the TXT record verification method, copy the TXT record provided by Google, and send it to SnapPages support (please include your domain name as well). Once we have received this information, we will add the TXT record to your domain so that it can be verified with Google Apps.
