In case you missed it during the website wizard, here is a short video providing a basic overview of SnapPages: Intro Video
Let's get started: Our site builder is separated into different apps. Each app will allow you to control or customize a different part of your site. For example, to create pages and add content to them, you will need to use the 'Pages' app. To change up the look and feel of your site, you need to utilize the 'Themes' app. Keep in mind that changes made in the 'Pages' app will not be displayed in the 'Themes' app (and vice versa). To see what your site actually looks like at any given time, visit it online at yourusername.snappages.com.
The account dashboard (shown in the screenshot above) is the central hub for your SnapPages account that you will see whenever you log in. From the dashboard, you can access any of the apps, adjust your account's settings, manage your domain (under the 'Settings' tab), and change your account information (username, password, email address, etc.).
The 'Blog' app allows you to create and manage your site's blog. To publish the blog to your site, visit the 'Pages' app and make sure the 'Blog' page is listed under the 'Navigation' or 'Published' folder. You can also change the title of your blog by selecting the page within the 'Pages' app and changing the title.
The 'Emailer' app is a tool in which you can create email newsletters and then send them out to email lists that you have created.
The 'Photos' app is a place to upload, manage, and edit photos. You can also create albums in this app and then use the albums for slideshows and other image options while building your site in the 'Web Pages' editor.
The 'Calendar' app gives you the ability to create a calendar and then publish it to your site.
The 'Files' app is a place to upload and manage files that you plan to add to your site. You can also sort and organize these files in separate folders.
If you have any specific questions regarding any of these apps, please contact our support team by creating a ticket on the right hand side of the page.
Happy website building!
